Grace Frankforter

About Me

Grace is an ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer, sculptor/artist, and mother.

While Grace was studying for her BA in Studio Art, her mother was seriously injured in a near fatal horse riding accident. Learning to assist in the recovery process, along with keen interest in brain health, stressed how important it is to be as physically healthy and active as one possibly can. Following back surgery in 2005 Grace 3 spent years dealing with nearly constant pain and the weight gain caused by going from a previously active life to near constant inactivity. In 2008 Grace began working with a personal trainer to regain her strength and learn how to exercise without causing further problems or injury. Today she is pain free, active, and passionate about helping other people to have happier healthier lives through personal training, support and motivation. Grace works primarily  with older people and also with people with challenges not usually addressed with traditional training, and is constantly studying how to be more useful in these areas.

Grace lives in a refurbished grocery store, where she enjoys working out, gardening, and hanging out with her rescue dog Moe dog as well as making sculptures and other art. She’s a big fan of coffee, food, comfortable clothes and reading.
